Dear parishioners,
Thank you very much for your ongoing support for St Peter parish. We are truly grateful for your generous gifts and strive to be excellent stewards of our resources. For clarity and transparency, the finance council will present financial statements in the coming weeks. The report will be available in the parish bulletin and upon request at the front office desk.
With prayer,
Fr. Gregory

Chapel Veil Ministry
While not a requirement, the chapel veil is a beautiful tradition that is Biblical, reverent and reminds us that we are stepping out of the ordinary mode of life and entering into sacred time. The veil helps us to always remember in whose Real Presence we are when we approach the Blessed Sacrament…Our Lord Jesus Christ, the
Bridegroom. As women, we are the symbols of the Church, the
Bride of Christ. And how do we identify the Bride? By her veil.
To learn more about veiling or to receive a free chapel veil, contact Teresa Crichton (
t.crichton@comcast.net)
or Ashley Slack (
ashnslack@gmail.com).

40 Days for Life Spring Campaign
The 'spring' campaign of
40 Days for Life has begun outside Planned Parenthood at Centennial Blvd and Fillmore. It is easy to go out to pray on the sidewalk when it is warm and sunny. It is more difficult when the weather is stormy, windy, snowy, and cold, especially here in Colorado. Did you know MORE BABIES ARE SAVED in bad weather conditions? It's not too late to sign up. Make your Lenten commitment

Solemnity of St. Joseph
On March 19, we celebrate the Solemnity of St. Joseph, husband of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This occasion is an opportunity to highlight the gift of adoption by seeking the intercession of St. Joseph, foster father of Jesus, for the many people whose lives are touched by adoption. In this Year of St. Joseph, let us pray for birth mothers and fathers who place their children for adoption, for children waiting to be adopted, for married couples pursuing an adoption and for family members welcoming children through adoption. You are invited to pray
The St. Joseph Adoption Novena in anticipation of his special feast day from March 10-18. For the Novena prayers, click
