Weekly announcements - September 3, 2021
September 3, 2021
Dear Fellow Parishioners,
Before every weekend Mass, we pray our parish prayer together acknowledging “every good thing comes from you”, our one God. We are forever grateful for the blessings, opportunities and challenges God offers to us, which allows us to grow even closer and dependent on Him.
Keeping this important message in mind, your parish council is at work to address our strategic initiative goals and to advise, support and help Father Gregory continue to build our amazing parish for God. In the coming months, you’ll notice a few positive enhancements in our church vestibule and gathering area, which will add to our parish community and worship environment. Stay tuned!
You’ll also observe all the activities taking place at our Parish Ministry Center (PMC). From numerous meetings to Bible studies to faith formation classes to funeral receptions and so much more, we are making good use of our multi-functional parish center.
We’re taking steps to broaden and strengthen our relationship between our parish and school. So buckle up. It’s going to be a great year!
Our St. Peter parish is truly blessed to be “one body” together serving our Lord through worship, prayer, education, service and stewardship. The “power of one” is never more apparent than here in our church community; what one individual, one family, one community of Christ can do to make a difference in the world around them. Through one God, together we can serve as “one body” to better serve our own parish community, school and the world.
May you and your families and friends continue to be blessed.
Always in Christ,
Parish Council President

Are you or someone you know interested in becoming Catholic or learning more about the Catholic faith? RCIA, the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, is a process that includes weekly classes where you will be introduced to the beliefs and practices of the Roman Catholic Church. Deacon Tom Dickinson and his team of Catechists will help you explore what it means to be a Christian and prepare you to enter fully into our faith community through the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist. We welcome all who are new to the faith, the baptized or unbaptized, Catholics who have not completed the sacraments, and anyone who is simply searching for God. RCIA begins in the fall and concludes in the spring. For more information, contact Deacon Tom at
