Instaurare Omnia in Christo Ministry MeetingYou're invited to the PMC on Monday, October 18, at 7pm, to discuss how COVID has affected us and why. We have been talking about the enemies of our Church and the necessity of strengthening our spiritual health. COVID-19 has been an assault on our country and our religious freedom; are we following Christ in dealing with what has happened to us? Please consider bringing a friend or family member so that we have as many perspectives as possible to address and discuss what bothers us that our “Restoring All Things in Christ” can do to unite us. For more information, contact
Ken Stone.
JOY International Advocates
Please join us on Monday, October 25, at 7pm, in the PMC for a time of prayer and support for local survivors of human trafficking. Our new advocacy group is an outreach of JOY International. We will meet monthly to pray, write notes of encouragement, and prepare small gifts to bless the staff and survivors at Sarah’s Home in Peyton. Education on human trafficking, awareness and prevention will also be included at each meeting. For this reason, attendance is limited to those age 17 and older. For more information, please contact

Upcoming Lay Carmelite Informational Meetings
Did you know it’s possible for laypeople to belong to one of several of the Church’s orders? If you believe that you are particularly drawn to a life of prayer, it’s possible that you may have a vocation as a Third Order, or Lay, Carmelite. The Order of Carmel traces its roots back to the thirteenth century, when hermits living on Mount Carmel in the Holy Land followed the examples of the prophet Elijah and the Blessed Virgin Mary and dedicated their lives to prayer, community, and service.
To learn more, please come to one of Morning Star Lay Carmelite Community’s informational meetings, Wednesday, October 20, or Monday, November 8, from 7-8pm. We will meet in the St. Kateri Room at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 8755 Scarborough Drive. We will explain who we are and what we do, expectations and requirements, and the formation process. If you have questions, please contact
Sue Athey (719-265-6999). You can also visit the Lay Carmelites of Colorado
website. Check us out!
