New Safe Home for Teen Boys Rescued from Trafficking
Did you know that boys are the fastest growing segment of human trafficking victims? As tragic as that is, there is good news: the board of Sarah's Home (a local safe home for teen girls rescued from trafficking) has launched an initiative to build a new home for teen boys rescued from sex-trafficking. When it opens it will be the ONLY home for teen boy survivors in the entire US. The land and basic structures have been acquired, but an additional $150,000 is needed to complete building and renovations. Feeling called to make a donation? Go to
https://sarahshome.us/donate/. If you work for a company that does matching gifts, that can be a great way to double the impact. Another option is to seek a corporate grant. Many large employers have budgets set aside for community grants. If you are interested in exploring this option and need help navigating the paperwork, please contact Mary Wyman (
mary.wyman@att.net) for assistance.
Want to learn more? Join us in the PMC on May 22. We pray for victims and survivors of human trafficking and plan events to support local anti-trafficking organizations.

To Jesus Through Mary Ministry
Please pray the rosary every day. 139,989 rosaries prayed so far by St. Peter parishioners! If you would like your prayed rosary count to be included in our parish tally, just fill in an anonymous tally sheet on the rosary table and place in the glass vase at your convenience, or email Elaine Martinez at
emartinezemm@comcast.n... with your recurring weekly count to be included automatically.
We are in need of volunteers to lead the rosary 30 minutes before Saturday and Sunday Masses once per month. Please contact Elaine Martinez at emartinezemm@comcast.net if you feel called to this ministry. Don’t worry, we’ll provide the tools and coaching! As a reminder, we give away free blessed handmade rosaries. They are in the basket on the rosary table.
