St. Peter Eucharistic Procession
for the Feast of Corpus Christi
Sunday, June 2, after 10:30am Mass
Please join us after Mass to celebrate the solemnity of Corpus Christi, a more than 700-year-old feast day that commemorates the real presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.
We will walk through Monument with the Blessed Sacrament as a public display of our faith.

St. Peter Wine Tasting Group
Did you know St. Peter has a wine tasting SPIN group? If you enjoy good company, wine and light snacks, this group is for you! Each month, the group gathers at someone’s home, usually on a Sunday afternoon from 4-6pm, to enjoy wine and socializing. Group members are asked to bring a bottle of wine. Sign up here.

Visiting Priest - June 8 & 9
Next weekend, at all masses, Rev. Raju Pilla will speak about the works and needs of the Latin Archdiocese of Trivandrum in India. Trivandrum has about 265,000 Catholics - 90% are fishermen who depend on fishing for their livelihood and 10% are farm workers who are recent converts from low-caste Hindus. Unemployment and poverty are most rampant in the communities. The archdiocese depends on outside contributions to support its clergy, seminarians, catechists, and the humanitarian projects of the homes for the orphans, aged and destitute, which provide food, shelter, health care, and education. In 2021, Hurricane “Tauktae” left hundreds of families homeless. Each year monsoon sea-erosion destroys several homes of the fishermen who live near the sea and make a living from fishing. The archdiocese is yet to recover from the crippling effects of financial devastation caused by the pandemic lockdowns. We humbly request your generous contribution to the second collection.

2nd Annual Discernment Retreat - Saturday, June 1, 2-6pm
Do you know someone who would make a great priest? Have you been discerning the priesthood? Have you even given the priesthood just the slightest thought? The Diocese of Colorado Springs is hosting a retreat for single men between the ages of 16 - 40 at the St. John Henry Newman Center at 4785 Stanton Rd., near UCCS. There will be three speakers who will share their own personal journey regarding the priesthood followed by Adoration and the Rosary; Confessions will also be available. Discerners and parents are invited to the BBQ which begins at 5pm, also at the Newman Center. Registration begins at 1:30pm. RSVP to Mike at mlehnertz@icloud.com by Saturday, May 25.

Middle school students and their families are invited to Fox Run Park to celebrate the end of the year with a party at the park. We will have pizza, a talent show, sports and water games! Annual Knights of Columbus Pancake Breakfast - Thursday, July 4, 7-10am
Join us in the courtyard between the church and school for pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage (links and patties), potatoes, orange juice and coffee. The cost for adults is $10, ages 5-13 is $5, and 4 and younger are free. The Knights accept cash, checks and credit cards. All clergy, military personnel and first responders in uniform are free.

Wanted: Rosary Team Volunteers
Volunteers are invited to pray the Rosary with seniors at nursing facilities. The Rosary Team is growing and has over 400 volunteers in over 120 facilities throughout the Denver Front Range. We are looking for volunteers in the Monument community. Mentoring and guidance provided. We are in need of volunteers to lead the rosary 30 minutes before Saturday and Sunday Masses once per month. Please contact Elaine Martinez at emartinezemm@comcast.net if you feel called to this ministry. Don’t worry, we’ll provide the tools and coaching!
As a reminder, we give away free blessed handmade rosaries. They are in the basket on the rosary table.
