Catholic Infertility Support
Did you know that 1 in 5 couples struggle with infertility (CDC)? Couples carrying the cross of infertility are in our families, among our friends, and in our pews. They need to know that they have many gifts to bring to our parish, that their marriages are life-giving in many beautiful ways, and that God has not abandoned them—and neither have we. If you know someone struggling with infertility or pregnancy loss, resist the temptation to offer solutions or make predictions about what will happen if they “just pray a little harder.” Instead, show these couples your support by listening to them, praying for them, reminding them that God is with them, and that they are not alone. For more resources and support, email us at
cos.infertility@gmail.com.
Blue Mass - Tuesday, May 13, 12:10pm
The 17th annual diocesan Blue Mass, honoring all law enforcement personnel, firefighters, EMS/first responders, and those who work closely within these fields (i.e. dispatchers, etc.), will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Cathedral. All are invited to wear their uniform of the day or Class A dress uniform. St. Michael coins for law enforcement personnel and St. Florian coins for firefighters will be blessed by Bishop James Golka. Anyone who would like a coin is asked to RSVP to
fatherbrad@msn.com. A lunch reception will follow the Mass. All are invited.
Diocesan Ministry Appeal (DMA)
We can be ministers of the resurrection when we work for justice, offer reconciliation, model trust in God, act compassionately, and share our good fortune with those in need, such as supporting the Diocesan Ministry Appeal and its many programs.
