A Message from Fr. Gregory
Dear parishioners,
I hope this message finds you all well and in high spirits. I am writing to share some changes that have taken place in our parish, which will affect our church staff assignments.
Deacon Clarence Mary Johnson, our liturgist, has accepted a position in the Diocese of Colorado Springs as an assistant to the director of diaconate formation. We wish Deacon Johnson all the best in this new endeavor.
Victoria Goetz, our faith formation coordinator, will be moving to Washington, D.C., with her family due to her husband’s new Air Force assignment. We wish Victoria and her family the best of luck during this transition.
Sister Pham, our youth ministry coordinator, has been reassigned by her mother superior to Santa Cruz, California. We wish Sister Pham all the best in her new role.
After 10 years of dedicated service, Melissa Smith, our health and healing ministry coordinator, has retired from her position. We are grateful for Melissa’s contributions and wish her all the best in her future endeavors.
In a positive development, Mother Superior has sent us a new Salesian sister who will lead elementary faith formation and Confirmation in our parish. We are excited to welcome this new sister to our community.
As a result of these changes, I will assume the duties of the liturgist and health and healing ministry. Both positions will not be open to hiring at this time.
I want to express my deepest gratitude to each employee who is leaving their ministry in our parish. Their dedication, faith, and joy have been a source of inspiration for all of us. I encourage you to join me in praying for them during this transition.
If there are any further changes in the future, I will keep you informed.
In the meantime, may God bless you all and may our parish continue to thrive.

Parking Lot Notice Reminder

The 17th annual diocesan Blue Mass, honoring all law enforcement personnel, firefighters, EMS/first responders, and those who work closely within these fields (i.e. dispatchers, etc.), will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Cathedral. All are invited to wear their uniform of the day or Class A dress uniform. St. Michael coins for law enforcement personnel and St. Florian coins for firefighters will be blessed by Bishop James Golka. Anyone who would like a coin is asked to RSVP to fatherbrad@msn.com. A lunch reception will follow the Mass. All are invited.

Resting Gowns Sewing Demonstration - Saturday, June 28, 9:30-11am
All sewers and seamstresses are invited to the PMC where Irene Sutherland will demonstrate how a donated wedding gown can be transformed into a very special garment for premature babies in the NICU who have been called “home” to God. Should you decide this is your calling, donated wedding gowns will be available that day for you to join this project.
