Join us in the PMC where Mike White will present, "The Essential Holy Spirit Toolbox". God gives every confirmed Catholic Seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit. Many can list them, but far fewer can describe them or recognize their attributes. They’re given to us by God for a reason. Therefore, each of us is personally obliged to fulfill and engage our Spiritual Gifts! Have you? Most of us still haven’t figured out which Gift of the Spirit is most evident in ourselves - even after many years of adult life. Mike is going to explore the Seven Gifts and explain how they differ from Charisms. But most importantly, he is going to show you how to discern, recognize, and engage your specific primary Gift of the Holy Spirit, because it's never too late! By invoking the Gifts of the Spirit, come to learn how to unlock the holy potential, God Himself, has uniquely purposed for YOU. Retreat for Men Considering the Priesthood - Saturday, July 12

This discernment retreat for men ages 18-40 will be held at St. John Henry Newman Center, 4785 Stanton Road, Colorado Springs. There will be presentations by a priest, a parent of a priest and the seminarian’s panel. Adoration and the rosary will also be offered. Immediately following the retreat, discerners and their parents (no other family members, please) are invited to a BBQ. RSVP by email to mlehnertz@icloud.com.

ELEVATING DIVINE REDEEMER CHURCH TO THE DIOCESAN
SHRINE OF OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE, MOTHER OF OUR DIVINE REDEEMER
Having seen that the architecture of Divine Redeemer Church, influenced by the theology of the Second Vatican Council, is a peculiar building of architectural value and beauty in the Diocese of Colorado Springs. Furthermore, Divine Redeemer Church is an appropriate place for pilgrimages, devotions, and prayer,
Having seen that Our Lady of Guadalupe Church cannot accommodate the large number of faithful who pay homage to the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe,
I, the Most Rev. James R. Golka, by the grace of God, Bishop of the Diocese of Colorado Springs, having consulted with the Presbyteral Council and the Pastors of both parishes, and keeping before my eyes the salvation of souls, and for the good of the faithful,
Hereby create the Diocesan Shrine of “Our Lady of Guadalupe, Mother of the Divine Redeemer Shrine” at Divine Redeemer Church,
Therefore, the parish boundaries of Our Lady of Guadalupe are subsumed into the boundaries of Divine Redeemer Church, now known as “Our Lady of Guadalupe, Mother of the Divine Redeemer Shrine,”
The newly created Diocesan Shrine obtains all the temporal goods, patrimonial rights, and obligations that formerly belonged to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (can. 121),
All ecclesiastical records of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish shall be forwarded to the Curia of the Diocese of Colorado Springs,
Furthermore, I encourage all the faithful to participate in frequent pilgrimages to the Shrine to offer devotional prayers to Our Lady of Guadalupe, Mother of the Divine Redeemer,
