At St. Peter, we are blessed to have Adoration with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament in Peter the Rock Chapel every Tuesday from 7am to noon and every Thursday from 5pm to 9pm. With the start of a new year, we are looking to expand the hours of Exposition so that more people can come adore the Lord in this extraordinary way.
The Blessed Sacrament must never be left alone during hours of Exposition, which means we need to choose hours based on when we can reasonably expect an adequate number of adorers to keep Jesus company. To that end, we are asking interested parishioners to fill out this brief survey about possible days/times to add.

Blessing of the Throats - Tuesday, February 4, 8:15am & 5:30pm
At daily Masses on the feast day of St. Blaise, throats will be blessed for protection against throat ailments and other illnesses. St. Blaise, a physician and bishop, asked God to cure a child who was choking to death on a fish bone, and the child’s life was saved. Thus, St. Blaise is the patron saint of healthy throats.

Scout Troop 17 is kicking off its 75th year of service to the Tri-Lakes region with a spaghetti dinner fundraiser in Jaeger Hall. Meal includes homemade spaghetti & meatballs, salad, French bread, dessert and drink. Sweet treats may be purchased at the bake sale. Tickets sold at the door. Adults: $12, children 5-13: $6, 4 and under: FREE, family maximum: $50. Cash, Venmo or credit card accepted. Proceeds go toward replacing camping and cooking gear and a summer full of adventure for our scouts. For more information on this event or becoming involved in scouting, call 719-659-3267.
