I hope this message finds you well. As we continue to journey together in faith, I am excited to share with you a wonderful opportunity to support and nurture the spiritual growth of our young parishioners.
This summer, a group of 63 students from our parish will be attending a life-changing Catholic conference in Denver designed to deepen their faith, strengthen their relationship with Christ, and equip them to live boldly as disciples. This conference will provide them with the opportunity to engage in powerful worship, hear inspiring talks, and connect with other young Catholics from across the country.
To help make this possible, we are inviting each of you to consider spiritually and financially adopting one of these students. Your spiritual commitment would involve praying for them daily, asking the Holy Spirit to guide and protect them throughout this journey. Your financial support would help cover the costs ($300 per person) of the conference, including lodging, and meals.
By participating in this spiritual and financial adoption, you will play a vital role in the faith journey of our young people, empowering them to grow closer to Christ and to share their witness with others. Your generosity will help sow seeds of faith that will yield a fruitful harvest in our parish community.

Come to Jaeger Hall for a delicious fish dinner prepared by our Knights of Columbus. The menu consists of grilled salmon, baked cod, clam chowder, side dishes of country potatoes, apple sauce and coleslaw, drinks and dessert. Meat-free pizza will be available for the little ones. The cost is $15 for age 13 and up, $10 for age 5-12, no charge for 4 and under. Bring your family for fantastic food and fellowship. Prepay here.

SPCS is looking for a music teacher for the 2026-27 school year. Responsibilities of the music teacher include leading the music/music history classes, the St. Cecelia Choir, and the annual musical. Easter Lilies in Memory of Loved Ones
Remember a loved one - those who have gone from us, and those who are still enriching our lives - through a memorial gift of Easter lilies. The flowers will adorn the church on Easter Sunday. The cost is $20 per plant. Please make your check payable to St. Peter Church and put “Easter lilies” and the name of the person you wish to honor in the memo section. Please place your order no later than Thursday, March 26.

The Arimathean Ministry
The Gospel of John (19:38-42) relates the story of Joseph of Arimathea, a disciple of Jesus, who claimed His crucified body from Pilate and along with Nicodemus, prepared it for burial according to Jewish customs. From the model of Joseph of Arimathea flows this 'ministry of love' where the Arimatheans represent our parish family at the funeral Masses of fellow parishioners. Arimatheans, by their presence at a funeral Mass, help provide some comfort to families as they mourn the loss of their loved one, especially if there are only a few remaining friends or family members for elderly parishioners. Arimatheans are notified of funeral Masses via the parish prayer chain email. Funerals are typically scheduled mid-morning during the week. Please consider this simple, but powerful ministry for the families of our parish. There are no meetings. Arimatheans are encouraged to come whenever they are able. If interested in being a part of this corporal work of mercy, contact Stephanie Kemp (719-481-4355). The Milk Farm Initiative aims to establish a milk farm that will provide quality milk to underprivileged children in the community and generate revenue to support the seminary formation of future priests. The funds also foster a source to nurture future leaders in the religious community.
