~A Special Invitation to Families~
As we journey through Holy Week, the Knights of Columbus encourage and invite all families to come together in solemn reflection for our Good Friday services on Friday, April 3, 2025, at 6pm. This is a powerful opportunity to remember Christ’s passion and sacrifice and to draw closer to Him as a family.
Let this Good Friday be a time when we unite in prayer and reverence, passing on the depth of our Catholic faith to the next generation.

All Masses will be celebrated in the church.
The parish offices will close at noon on Wednesday, April 1,
and reopen at 8:30am on Tuesday, April 7.

CAN YOU HELP?
We're looking for some friendly folks (adults and youth 7th grade & up) to hand out Easter gift books to parishioners and guests after the Easter Vigil and all Easter Masses.
The time commitment is only 5-10 minutes,
and all Easter Masses are in the Church this year!

Why do Catholics cover statues
during the last days of Lent?
During the final days of Lent, the Church enters Passiontide—a time when crosses and sacred images are veiled.
The Roman Missal permits this practice:
crosses remain covered until Good Friday, and images until the Easter Vigil.
But this is more than a rubric.
By veiling what is sacred, we are invited to reflect on what the world would be like without the Passion and Resurrection of Christ.
No saints.
No visible reminders of His love.
Throughout Lent, we are gradually deprived:
the Alleluia, the Gloria, holy water, sacred images—even the celebration of Mass on Good Friday.
All of this prepares us for Easter,
when everything is restored—solemnly and gloriously.
In our tradition, we veil what is beautiful, sacred, and life-giving…
so that we may learn to see it again.

Monument Walk for Life - Saturday, June 13, 9am
Mark your calendars for the Monument Walk for Life. Father Gregory will celebrate Mass at 8:15am and the walk will begin at 9am on the Sante Fe Trail.
