Human Trafficking and Tools for Parents
Thursday, April 30, 6:30pm
Don't miss the upcoming speaker event on human trafficking, which will include practical steps parents can take to protect their children. St Peter parishioner, Michael Allen, District Attorney for the 4th Judicial District, will speak on the topic, "Human Trafficking is Real in Colorado Springs." Deacon Andy Berry and Monica Lichtenberger, from the diocesan ministry ACT for Freedom Now, will share "Parental Tools to Protect Our Children." Mark your calendars now for this important event to be held in the Parish Ministry Center.
Flooring Renovation in the Church
Starting April 27, the flooring in the church will undergo a complete renovation. The project should be completed by May 8. Weekend and morning Masses will continue uninterrupted. However, 5:30pm Mass on the following dates will be celebrated in Peter the Rock Chapel:

Thursday, April 30
Tuesday, May 5
Thursday, May 7
Additionally, confessions will be only offered on Saturdays (3-4pm) during this renovation period (April 27 through May 8).

Youth Stewardship Award Scholarship
The St. Peter Knights of Columbus Council is offering scholarship opportunities of $500 cash (or more) to 2026 high school graduates. The intent is to reward youth of our parish for their prior service and to encourage them to live a life of faith-based stewardship beyond their high school years. Note that this award is NOT a scholastic scholarship and multiple awards may be handed out. Applications are available here, in the parish office or contact the KofC committee chairman at daddyshands@hotmail.com. Applications must be submitted by May 1, 2026.
HELP NEEDED for the Hospitality Ministry
The St. Peter Hospitality Ministry is seeking volunteers (14 years and older) for intermittent celebrations occurring at the church or PMC. Volunteers will be involved in decorating, set up, clean up, and serving during the event. If you are interested in joining our team, please contact ewoish@yahoo.com.

Prayer intentions for Our Lady of Lourdes
Order of Malta members will travel to Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine in France and would like to carry your prayer intentions, especially for your loved ones who are ill. They will present them to Our Lady of Lourdes in the Sacred Grotto. Blank prayer petitions may be found in the gathering area.
Holy Face of Jesus Devotion
Beginning April 28, the devotion will take place before the Blessed Sacrament on the last Tuesday of each month, noon until 12:45pm, in Peter the Rock Chapel. Please join us for this important work of redemption.
Monument Walk for Life - Saturday, June 13, 9am
Mark your calendars for the Monument Walk for Life. Father Gregory will celebrate Mass at 8:15am and the walk will begin at 9am on the Sante Fe Trail.
Heavenly Mountain Honey
Produced locally from Fr. Gregory's beehives, jars of honey are available for purchase in the church office (22 oz. jar - $25, 10 oz. jar - $13.50). Please make checks payable to Gregory Golyzniak. Honey may be purchased during office hours (Monday through Friday, 8:30am-2pm, closed noon-1pm for lunch).
