Daily Mass worshippers: Please enter the church through the emergency exit doors on the east and west sides of the church.
Begin your 4th of July celebration with pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage (links and patties), potatoes, orange juice and coffee. Breakfast is served in the courtyard between the church and school. Handicapped accessible. The Knights accept cash, checks and credit cards.
4th of July Parade
All are welcome to participate! You can walk or ride atop a vintage fire truck. Meet at the rectory at 9:30am on Saturday morning. Please wear St. Peter Catholic School colors (navy blue and green) or red, white and blue. Bring water, sunscreen and comfortable shoes.
We are collecting backpacks for our neighbor families with children. Please deliver backpack donations to the parish office before July 7.
Our goal is 50 backpacks, so far we've collected 10.

Cathedral Letter Concepts will not be sending monthly envelopes for July in order to catch up production for its 3,000-plus customers. Please use a previous month's envelope and write the correct date on it; or you can find envelopes in the gathering area on the counter near the north doors.

Tapping into Theology - Tuesday, July 14, 7pm
Join parishioner Lucas Pollice, author of Open Wide the Doors to Christ: Discovering Catholicism, for a presentation in the PMC. Lucas has been involved in full-time parish, diocesan, and catechetical ministry for 30 years. His talk is titled "Vatican II: A New Pentecost for the New Evangelization". Come learn more about the Second Vatican Council and how we are all called to be living witnesses of the Christian Life in the turmoil and confusion we see in the world today. Rosary Walk for Life - Tuesday, July 28, after 8:15am Mass
St. Peter is hosting the diocesan Rosary Walk for Life in July. Join Deacon Jim Bachta, Associate Director of the Respect Life Apostolate, as we pray the Rosary and walk in quiet prayer through our Monument neighborhood. We end up at the Adoration Chapel for a Divine Mercy Chaplet. Unable to walk? Spend time in prayer in the Chapel in solidarity with our walking parishioners and pilgrims from other parishes. We walk and pray to engage more intently in the spiritual battle for the sanctity of life and to provide prayer support for those who witness near Planned Parenthood. 9/11 Memorial Concert
Thursday, September 10, 7pm
Do join us on Thursday, September 10, at 7pm, in church for a concert offered by our music ministry. We will pay prayerful tribute to those who have served as military and first responders as we commemorate the 25th anniversary of 9/11. In prayer, Scripture, and song, we will also remember those who were victims of this senseless tragedy. In addition, we will remember all those who have fought for our freedoms these 250 years of our nation, especially those who served in Pearl Harbor 85 years ago.
Please join us on this night of prayerful and patriotic reflection.
The goal of St. Peter Youth Ministry is to get young people to Heaven, by giving them a place where they can be at home in the Church– free to be themselves, make good friends, encounter Jesus, serve others, and become saints!
