Tapping into Theology - Tuesday, August 11, 7pm
Join us in the PMC where Guy German will speak about the ministry of the Apostles after the Resurrection and Ascension of Jesus. "Expanding the Ministry of the Apostles" will focus on the seven Churches of the Book of Revelation, and the rediscovery of the house of the Blessed Mother. You don't need a theology degree to study the faith. The Denver Catholic Catechetical School is designed for everyday Catholics who want to learn more, grow spiritually, and become better disciples. Military and First Responder Prayer Board
The members of St. Peter Knights of Columbus 4th Degree Assembly are proud to enable our parish with the ability to recognize and pray for our service members and first responders. If you currently have a picture on the board, please let us know if it needs to be updated or removed. We request that all pictures be submitted in size 3"X5" or as a JPG attachment to your email. Rosary Walk for Life - Tuesday, July 28, after 8:15am Mass
St. Peter is hosting the diocesan Rosary Walk for Life in July. Join Deacon Jim Bachta, Associate Director of the Respect Life Apostolate, as we pray the Rosary and walk in quiet prayer through our Monument neighborhood. We end up at the Adoration Chapel for a Divine Mercy Chaplet. Unable to walk? Spend time in prayer in the Chapel in solidarity with our walking parishioners and pilgrims from other parishes. We walk and pray to engage more intently in the spiritual battle for the sanctity of life and to provide prayer support for those who witness near Planned Parenthood. In Remembrance:
A Tribute to the Heroes and the Fallen
Thursday, September 10, 7pm
Do join us on Thursday, September 10, at 7pm, in church for a concert offered by our music ministry. We will pay prayerful tribute to those who have served as military and first responders as we commemorate the 25th anniversary of 9/11. In prayer, Scripture, and song, we will also remember those who were victims of this senseless tragedy. In addition, we will remember all those who have fought for our freedoms these 250 years of our nation, especially those who served in Pearl Harbor 85 years ago.
Please join us on this night of prayerful and patriotic reflection.
The goal of St. Peter Youth Ministry is to get young people to Heaven, by giving them a place where they can be at home in the Church– free to be themselves, make good friends, encounter Jesus, serve others, and become saints!
