We will pay prayerful tribute to those who have served as military and first responders as we commemorate the 25th anniversary of 9/11. In prayer, Scripture, and song, we will also remember those who were victims of this senseless tragedy. In addition, we will remember all those who have fought for our freedoms these 250 years of our nation, especially those who served in Pearl Harbor 85 years ago.

Candy Wanted for Trunk or Treat

2026 Diocesan Rosary Rally - Saturday, October 3, 9-11:30am
All are invited to the Annual Diocesan Rosary Rally! This special family event will take place at Saint Francis of Assisi Parish, 2650 Parish View, Colorado Springs, CO. The morning will include the praying of the Rosary, followed by Holy Mass celebrated by Father Erin Kochivar, and a keynote presentation by Father Michael Goodyear. 16th Annual Tri-Lakes Life Prayer Chain - Sunday, October 4, 1:30-3pm
Join your St. Peter family on Respect Life Sunday for a life chain along Hwy 105. Our silent, prayerful, public witness is in reparation for the horrific evil we continue to allow in our country. Life Chain signs can be picked up at the Safeway parking lot or the Park & Ride on Woodmoor Dr. beginning at 1pm. The Life Chain will spread from Palmer Lake through Monument all the way to the Jackson Creek Parkway intersection. Come show your support for mothers and their unborn children. Tapping into Theology - Tuesday, September 8, 7pm
Join Mr. Tom Ryan, (MBA, MA Theology) popular past speaker for Tapping into Theology in the PMC for his talk: "Is Being Good, Good Enough? (spoiler alert.... No!)". Unfortunately, most Catholics today hold grave misunderstandings about our particular day of judgment and many unknowingly follow heretical beliefs. Virtually all are unaware of the one thing necessary for salvation. As a result, heaven is gained almost as a secondary effect of living a good Catholic life. Drawing on various polls and studies, Tom's talk will discuss a range of beliefs on what is necessary for heaven; starting by assessing the veracity of the widespread belief that Being Good is Good Enough and contrasting that belief with current Protestant and Catholic understanding. Tom's talk is based on Scripture, Magisterial documents, approved Catechisms, the writings of Church Fathers and Doctors, approved mystics, other saints, and modern authors. Tom will share the simple truths of Church tradition that have been consistently taught for centuries, illustrated directly in a way that is easy to understand. You will learn the path followed by countless saints; a path that we can begin to follow NOW to prepare for our own personal day of judgment and that can be shared with those we love.
