Annual "Hope Bag" Collection for Survivors of Human Trafficking - September 20 - October 4
What can you do to help survivors of human trafficking? When people are rescued from human trafficking, they have almost nothing of their own. Even their clothing can be confiscated as evidence! YOU can help by participating in St. Peter's annual Hope Bag collection. Hope Bags are backpacks given to victims at the time of their rescue, to bring much needed comfort and dignity. With our four previous drives, sponsored by the HOPE Advocates ministry, St. Peter Parishioners have donated over $27,000 worth of items that have directly blessed approximately 275 children, women and men rescued from human trafficking.

Tapping into Theology - Tuesday, October 13, 7pm
Join us in the PMC for "The Mysterious Pattern of the Remnant" presented by Mike White. Mike attends St. Mark Parish in Highlands Ranch where he and his
wife serve as marriage prep facilitators. Mike's presentation on "The Remnant" will be the most challenging and controversial thus far. It required six months of extensive research to assure it is 100% authentic Catholic teaching. Learn more here. Refreshments are available for a donation. 2026 Diocesan Rosary Rally - Saturday, October 3, 9-11:30am
All are invited to the Annual Diocesan Rosary Rally! This special family event will take place at Saint Francis of Assisi Parish, 2650 Parish View, Colorado Springs, CO. The morning will include the praying of the Rosary, followed by Holy Mass celebrated by Father Erin Kochivar, and a keynote presentation by Father Michael Goodyear. Come together for a beautiful morning of prayer, faith, and fellowship. All are welcome!
16th Annual Tri-Lakes Life Prayer Chain - Sunday, October 4, 1:30-3pm
Join your St. Peter family on Respect Life Sunday for a life chain along Hwy 105. Our silent, prayerful, public witness is in reparation for the horrific evil we continue to allow in our country. Life Chain signs can be picked up at the Safeway parking lot or the Park & Ride on Woodmoor Dr. beginning at 1pm. The Life Chain will spread from Palmer Lake through Monument all the way to the Jackson Creek Parkway intersection. Come show your support for mothers and their unborn children. Stephen Ministers are lay parishioners trained to provide one-to-one care to those experiencing a difficult time in life, such as grief, divorce, job loss, chronic or terminal illness, or relocation. If you feel called to serve others in this way, please join us for an informational reception on Monday, September 14, at 5pm, in the Parish Ministry Center. Candy Wanted for Trunk or Treat
The SPCS Trunk or Treat is right around the corner (Friday, October 23). We are collecting candy donations for the hundreds of ghosts and goblins who will descend upon campus. Please leave donations in the collection bucket near the church office. Thank you for supporting this community event!
